Where Modern Meets History

Set in the heart of the city—just minutes from downtown Seattle and walking distance from museums, art studios, and the main branch of Seattle Public Library—The Northwest School offers a vibrant, urban campus pulsing with history and creativity. The school’s main building, constructed in 1905, is a designated historic landmark. Just across the street students step into another building—and another century. Completed in 2014, 401 E. Pike connects and unifies the school’s campus and is an exciting addition to Seattle’s dynamic Capitol Hill neighborhood.
