After School Care & Enrichment Programming

After School Care - The Northwest School offers an after school program for our Middle School students. It is a supervised setting for students who need to be at school up until 6:00 pm, each school day.

The program is held in the school library, starting daily at 3:30 pm, and provides a quiet space to work on homework and get some organizational assistance. While not tutoring per se, sometimes extra help getting backpacks in order and keeping track of assignments is a welcome boost. A small snack will be provided daily for the students. Any student participating in the program must be in the library by 4:00 pm, and must be picked up by 6:00 pm. The fee is $15 per day. Any pick-up after 6:00 PM will be assessed an additional charge of $1 a minute. Charges will be reflected on your monthly statement (available via My Backpack).

If you are a family on financial aid, please refer to the Experience Northwest Fund information in regards to how fees for the after school program are covered.

For more information and how to register, click here. We will still accept drop-in students, but ask that you RSVP as soon as you know you need care by emailing afterschool@northwestschool.org.
