Welcoming Exchange Students from Partner Schools

The Northwest School open its doors to seven visiting students from our partner schools in Spain and France on Monday, Sept. 17, as part of our Global Learning Program. The visiting students will be staying with Northwest families until they depart in November.

“Many of life’s most lasting memories come from visiting new places and meeting new people,” says Dmitry Sherbakov, Northwest’s director of global marketing and programs. “Hosting an exchange student allows our community to learn about a different culture and create connections and friendships they will likely carry throughout life.”

Four students from Centro Docente María, our partner school in Seville, Spain, will be in our community until Nov. 9, and three students from Lycée Emmanuel Mounier, our partner school in Angers, France, will be at Northwest until Nov. 24.

While at Northwest, the visiting students will observe classes and participate in extra-curricular, athletic, and social activities as members of our community.

During Trimester 3, Northwest School sophomores have the opportunity to enroll in our Study Abroad Program at one of our four partner schools, including the schools in Spain and France. Read more about our Global Learning Program here.
