The Northwest School community packed the Broadway Performance Hall for its winter musical, Guys and Dolls, entertaining audiences with an evening of fantastic song, dance, and acting. The run of shows featured a double cast of principal actors alternating performances, with both casts delivering fabulous performances. The professionalism extended to the stage production, featuring complex set designs, stunning costumes, and excellent lighting.
The show was directed by Laura Ferri, with music direction by Dana Sewall, and choreography by Maya Soto.
Guys and Dolls is one of the most famous musicals of our time. The music and lyrics were written by Frank Loesser, and it is based on two short stories by Damon Runyon. It premiered on Broadway in 1950 and has run well over 1,000 performances.
