Charlotte joins us from the San Diego County Library System where she manages a library on the campus of the Lemon Grove Academy that serves as the library for the entire school district. Charlotte has worked as a Youth Services Librarian and at the reference desk of the San Diego State University Library. Charlotte tells us: "As a young person, I was fortunate to receive funding and attend a private independent high school…My experience there was incredibly impactful. I made lifelong friends, discovered my activist voice, and was granted a superior education. I also spent many hours in the school library. It was a place of discovery and creation and an early indicator of my professional calling."
