​Douglas Leek

B.A. (English Literature), Western Washington University; M.Ed. (Student Personnel Administration), Western Washington University; Doctorate of Education (Educational Leadership), Seattle University.

Prior to arriving at NWS, Douglas was an Associate Director of Admission and Financial Aid at Lakeside School, where he worked with both middle and upper schools. While at Lakeside he served as a student advisor, a member of the Diversity Committee, a Service Learning Leader, and Interim Coordinator of the Lakeside Educational Enrichment Program. In addition, he was one of the founders of Seattle’s Independent School Fair for People of Color, which he has successfully run for the past six years. Douglas has worked in various admissions-related capacities at the Evans School at the University of Washington, Seattle University, and Seattle Pacific University. Since 2008, Douglas has served on the Board of Directors for the Alumni Association of Western Washington University, and is a virtual mentor for the WWU Karen Morse Leadership Institute. When not reading textbooks and files, Douglas enjoys cooking and baking for his wife, extended family, and friends.
