Gianna tells us: “As an educator, I seek the opportunity to work with colleagues and students to create rigorous, interdisciplinary curricula rooted in anti-racism, anti-sexism, anti-oppression, and environmental justice that envisions and strives to build a world in which these ideals can become realities. I believe that the goal of education—for both teachers and students—is to contribute to the ongoing process of becoming more thoughtful, courageous, and engaged members of our local, national, and global communities, where all individuals can thrive.
