Harry Maher

B.A. (Psychology), Grinnell College

Harry was born and raised in the New York City suburb of New Rochelle, New York. Eager for a change of pace, he went to a tiny liberal arts college in small-town Iowa where he learned the value of being a part of a tight-knit community. After graduating, he went to India to teach English and help run a student hostel in rural West Bengal, India. After his stint in India, he went to Nepal to study handwashing behaviors among public school students in the Kathmandu valley for a Seattle-based nonprofit. As a Resident Adviser at The Northwest School, Harry helps build a happy and healthy dorm community. Outside of work he enjoys making maps and spending time outdoors.
