Jeff Blair

B.A. with Honors (Political Economy), Colorado College; M.Ed. (Curriculum and Instruction), Seattle University, as James Madison Fellow for teaching the U.S. Constitution; Washington State Teaching Certificate, Pacific Lutheran University; 2001 Gates Foundation Teacher Leadership Project grant recipient.

Jeff is the faculty advisor for the NWS’s student-led Environment Interest Group and a proactive member on the faculty Environmental Sustainability Committee. He was awarded a Distinguished Fulbright Award in Teaching to do educational research in South Africa in 2010, and selected to participate in the Fulbright Japan Exchange for Sustainable Development in 2014. Jeff’s passion for realizing our collective human potential has taken him to NWS’s partner school International Leadership Academy of Ethiopia, where, in the summer, he has served as a volunteer teacher and program coordinator.
