Kenton Westerfield

B.A. (Theatre Arts), University of North Colorado; M.Ed. Candidate, Student Development Administration, Seattle University

Kenton is excited to be supporting students for another year as part of the Northwest School's Residence Life team! Kenton joined the Dorm in the Summer of 2018 and has been having a fantastic time ever since. Kenton was born and raised in Aurora, Colorado and moved to Seattle in Fall of 2017. Previous to this school year, Kenton served two terms as an AmeriCorps College Coach with College Access Now, as a Diversity Mentor and Resident Assistant at the University of Northern Colorado, and as an Intern for First-Generation Student Experience at Seattle University. Alongside their current work at the NWS Dorm, Kenton is finishing up their Masters of Education in Student Development Administration at Seattle University and is working as a Running Start Academic Advisor at Highline College. When not working or studying, Kenton loves to play board games, tabletop games, and video games, tend to their collection of house plants, engage in discussion and advocacy around social justice, and catch up on their favorite Dungeons & Dragons podcasts. They also love to sing, dance, and act whenever they get the chance to!
