Michael Martínez

Michael loves working with high school students from all backgrounds, furthering students' social-emotional development, and advocating for social justice. Before joining the Northwest School dorm faculty, Michael developed programming with Camp Everytown, a social justice and leadership camp for high school students, and taught high-school English in Redwood City, California, and in Issaquah, Washington. Michael graduated from Knox College with a bachelor's degree in creative writing and from Stanford University with a master's degree in education. When not at the dorm, Michael enjoys volunteering at local conventions, going for walks around Seattle, reading novels and comics, and hanging out with birds.
