Nathalie Hall

M.S. (Art & Design Education), Pratt Institute; B.A. (Communications and Media Studies, Art History), Fordham University

Nathalie joined The Northwest School in 2018 as a teacher of visual arts and design. She teaches Middle School visual arts classes and Upper School graphic design and yearbook. Prior to moving to Seattle, Nathalie lived in New York City where she taught in both public and independent schools in grades K-12 including Little Red School House in New York, NY. She also spent a summer teaching art abroad in Amsterdam, Netherlands. Before finding her calling in the education field, Nathalie worked in advertising as an Art Director and Graphic Designer. Design is an important aspect of her pedagogy and she has spoken on the subject at the National Art Education Association annual conferences. Some of Nathalie’s favorite artists include Willem de Kooning, Robert Motherwell, and Vincent van Gogh. When not teaching, Nathalie enjoys painting, traveling, baking, and walking her dog, a Japanese Chin named Rocco.
