Veronica Leyva

B.S. (Family Studies and Human Development), University of Arizona; M.S. (Family and Human Development), Arizona State University

Veronica comes to Northwest after serving as a regional admissions representative for the University of Missouri. She says she connects with the ways in which Northwest “honors intersections of identity, experience, and interests, propelling development for individuals and community as a whole.”

Veronica centers her work in relationships and adolescent development. She says: “As a first-generation college student, I was acutely aware of everything I did not know about college. This perspective, along with an academic background in human development, has given me the tools to connect students with their strengths and interests while considering the impact of post-secondary decisions on their families.”
