​Wally Long

B.A. (Environmental Design), Colorado College.

Wally began his career in education as a field instructor with the National Outdoor Leadership School (NOLS). Leading one- to three-month wilderness education and leadership courses throughout North America, Wally developed a passion for experiential education, conservation, and student-focused leadership development. Embarking on a new adventure to help the fields of education and conservation, he spent five years on Wall Street in order to better understand finance and philanthropy. Wally has led successful planned giving and capital campaigns for St. Paul’s School in Concord, NH; The Nature Conservancy in Helena, MT; and Berkshire School in Sheffield, MA. Wally is an avid fly fisherman, skier, and juggler of children’s activities.
