For the Second week of Spring Break, April 8-12, we are offering the following camp classes to all students in 5th-9th grade, from any school. Create a personalized schedule that meets your interest and needs. Come for one class, a half day, or spend the whole day with us. Please note that classes with overlapping times cannot be taken concurrently.

AM Classes

African Drumming - 9:00 - 10:30, $150
A summer camp favorite! We provide the drums, you bring the rhythm. You will be introduced to the sounds of West Africa through drums, games, and storytelling.

Improv Theater - 9:00-10:30 OR 10:30-12, $150 per session
Improvisation is the ability to make things up on the spot - a skill that can come in handy in many aspects of life! This class will explore the basics of improv through games, agreement exercises, and active listening as you test your creativity and build your confidence. Improv is never the same, so you are welcome to sign up for both classes if you choose.

Machine Sewing - 10:30 - 12:00, $150
Learn the basics of using a sewing machine, and put your new skills to use making yourself a new tote bag. Practice tips and tricks from our sewing teacher extraordinaire, Katy, as you fashion your bag from recycled and re-purposed fabrics.

Crochet 101 - 10:30 - 12:00, $150
Start with the basics of chain, single and double crochet stitches. Once you've mastered the granny square, move on to pattern reading and creating amigurumi, the world's cutest, small, stuffed toys. From there, who knows where your new skills and imagination will take you!

Lunch Bunch - 9:00 - 1:00, $350
The Northwest School is known for delicious lunches designed and prepared by our professional kitchen team. Join Kris behind the scenes to recreate a few of your favorite lunches. Campers will work together to create a family meal each day, which they will share together with the whole camp for lunch.

Lunch is included for all campers in a class that begins or ends adjacent to the 12:00-1:00 lunch period.
