Student and faculty COVID-19 testing begins onsite during the last week of October. We will start by testing a random 10% of our population each week. When your student is selected to be tested, you and your student will receive a notification via MyBackPack. 

If you haven’t done so already, please take a moment to fill out the Rapid COVID-19 Antigen Test patient consent form, and get your student registered for COVID-19 testing. You can access the consent form for your student via My BackPack. You can register your student using the following registration link: https://simplereport.gov/register/62HJ6. These requirements must be completed no later than Friday October 22nd. 

Testing will be conducted through Abbott Laboratories BinaxNOW rapid antigen tests provided by the Washington State Department of Health. The test will be a self-administered anterior nasal swab, and test results will be available within 15 minutes. A positive test result will result in the individual following our isolation protocol. Test results will be disclosed to the appropriate public health authorities, and as otherwise permitted or required by law. As a reminder, strict adherence to confidentiality will be enforced in all COVID-related matters, including testing, results, and notification.
