Adam joins us from his role as a Chinese Content and Technology Specialist at the Chinese American International School in San Francisco. He also served as a STARTALK Leadership Consultant for the National Foreign language Center at the University of Maryland where he consulted to develop teacher training and curriculum for languages, including Chinese. Adam also served as a Chinese instructor at the Lakeside School for 12 years. Adam holds a bachelor's degree in Chinese from Middlebury College and a Master of Asian Languages and Literature from the University of Washington. He has been published nationally about teaching the Chinese language in publications such as Education Week, Asia Society, and the Yale University Press.
