Jenna Gareis

Jenna has over two decades of teaching experience and has worked with kindergarten, middle school, high school, and adult students. During her career, she has taught a wide range of subjects in Humanities, including Global Issues, Holocaust Studies, Philosophy, and Literary Criticism. Jenna completed her Master of Education in Curriculum and Instruction at Concordia University, and is now pursuing a doctoral degree there.

In her application materials, Jenna tells us her classes provide students with opportunities to interact with and explore human memory, thinking, learning, development, and behavior. “The students are engaged in analyzing, interpreting, and explaining their own self and identities, as well as their own behavior and the behavior of others, and how their choices and priorities not only reflect in global history but how they also may impact the global future.”
