Nichole DelValley

Nichole holds a Bachelor of Science in liberal arts and science from the University of Illinois, and a Master of Education from the University of Washington.

She has spent the past 10 years traveling and teaching in China, Taiwan and Peru. Nichole has taught a variety of subjects in both university and high school settings: English literature, academic writing, creative writing, history, English language arts, English as a Second Language and business.  She holds a Bachelor of Science in liberal arts and science from the University of Illinois, and a Master of Education from the University of Washington.

In her application materials, Nichole told us: “I encourage active and consistent participation from my students, often facilitating student-led discussions in which students can demonstrate their perspectives and intellectual curiosity. This way, I am constantly ready to learn from my students' unique experiences and lines of inquiry.”

In her spare time, Nichole loves outdoor activities, like hiking and especially anything involving water: snorkeling, canoe paddling and stand-up paddleboarding.
