Tamara Bunnell

M.A. (School Leadership and Organization), Columbia; B.A. (Washington State Teaching Certificate), Evergreen State College.

In 1994, Tamara spent several weeks in Pakistan on a Fulbright-Hays seminar grant to study the influence of Islam. She is the recipient of a Washington Education Association Leader in Restructuring Award and has participated in international Gilder Lehrman seminars, one on the Cold War at Cambridge University (UK) and another on World War II in New Orleans. In 2012, Tamara served as a teacher in residence at the American Air Museum in England. In 2014, she was awarded a National Endowment for the Humanities (NEH) grant to study Asian immigration to the Pacific Northwest. She has been a curriculum consultant and writer at the Experience Music Project in Seattle and has served on its Educator Board.
