Upper School  Add/Drops

Welcome to the start of the 2022-2023 School year! Your schedule should now be visible in Canvas. If you have trouble logging into Canvas, please contact the Helpdesk.

ADD/DROP PERIOD for class schedule changes is September 9–16. Students must receive approval from their advisors and all teachers whose classes are being added or dropped. Schedule changes are also dependent on appropriate placement, scheduling logistics and class capacity.

How to Add/Drop Classes

  1. Consult with your advisor before you begin the process. If your advisor approves, move to Step 2.
  2. Obtain the approval of the faculty member whose class you would like to ADD. You must have approval of a teacher to JOIN their class before you can request permission to DROP a class.
  3. Obtain the approval of the faculty member whose class you would like to DROP.
  4. Submit an online Upper School Add/Drop form. You will need the following information to complete this form:
    • The name, block and teacher of all classes you are adding and/or dropping.
    • Your advisor’s email address.
  5. The Upper School division administrators will review your request and let the Registrar’s Office know if the schedule change has been approved.
  6. Once the schedule change has been processed, you will receive an email notification from the Registrar’s office.

The Registrar's Office cannot accept the online Upper School Add/Drop form until Friday, September 9; no forms will be accepted after the end of school day September 16.

If you have any questions, please reach out to Susan Kurlinski in the Registrar’s office.
