Christopher’s passion for teaching is driven by a commitment to foster creativity and community through the arts. With over 15 years of experience as a professional musician and educator, Christopher has taught students in grades 5 through 12 in both public and private schools. Additionally, Christopher has worked in higher education, instructing undergraduate and graduate students in music and teacher preparation programs.
Deeply connected to The Northwest School’s dedication to the arts and humanities, Christopher values the opportunity to contribute to its long-standing legacy. Inspired by the profound impact the school has had on the community, Christopher is motivated to help students discover and develop their talents, believing that every gift is meant to be shared and nurtured for the benefit of others.
Active in numerous state, national, and international organizations promoting arts in education, Christopher also serves as the artistic director of Rainbow City Performing Arts. Recognized for contributions to building community through the arts, Christopher has received various honors, including being a finalist for the American Prize in Orchestral Conducting and a recipient of the COIL fellowship.
