Dale Sharp
Performing Arts Teaching Faculty
Dale is passionate about theatre education, bringing a wealth of experience and a deep commitment to helping students grow artistically. He takes great pride in fostering young talent, guiding students as they explore the many dimensions of theatre, from performance to production. A native of the Pacific Northwest, Dale has worked on a wide range of artistic projects, including leading a theatre troupe of teens and pre-teens to perform an original piece at MTV headquarters in New York—an experience that had a lasting impact on the students.
While his background includes teaching acting, Dale’s passion for technical theatre has only deepened over time, leading him to focus on the intricate aspects of production. His dedication to the craft also extends beyond the classroom, as he currently serves on the Board of Directors for a nonprofit theatre company in Yelm, Washington. At The Northwest School, Dale is eager to engage with students and contribute to the school’s vibrant arts community, guiding them through meaningful, hands-on experiences that will enrich their understanding and love of theatre.
