Ethan Sobotta

Ethan joins us from Lakeside School, where he served as Low Strings Coordinator and Director of the Upper School Jazz Band. He also taught Jazz II at Ingraham High School in Seattle from 2018-2019, and teaches private lessons in double bass and electric bass. Previously, Ethan served as the Director of the Arizona String Project, Director of Orchestras for Minnetonka Public School in Minnesota, and served as a trainer for Apple, Inc. for five years. He also performs regularly with several bands, orchestras, and musical theater productions in town. Ethan tells us: "Music made me a better person, and I want to transmit this same feeling to new students."
