Pete Traube
Science Teacher
Pete holds a Bachelor of Arts in chemistry from Williams College, and a Master of Arts in teaching from Seattle Pacific University.Pete’s career as a science teacher has brought him to Kennedy Catholic High School, Forest Ridge School, the Overlake School, Charles Wright Academy and the Hun School of Princeton. Pete has also led outdoor programs such as hikes and overnight trips in his schools.In his statement of teaching philosophy, Pete told us: “My philosophy of education centers on maximizing student engagement. This begins with recognizing that the most effective learning occurs when a student is actively involved in their educational experience through student-centered lessons and activities. My primary focus over the past several years has been inquiry-based lessons that emphasize student involvement.”
