Rose Amlin
Dance Teaching Faculty
Rose Amlin (she/her) is a Seattle-based dance artist and educator. She grew up dancing in Seattle and went on to study at the University of Washington, graduating with degrees in Dance and Psychology. She has had the pleasure of performing in works by dani tirrell and the Congregation (2024), Noel Price-Bracey, Nia-Amina Minor, Alana Rodgers, Amy Lambert (RicketySticks Dance-Theatre), Tshedzom Tingkhye , Rachel Lincoln, Alethea Alexander, Mike Esperanza, and many others. Rose's own choreographic work has been presented at the University of Washington during her time there, at BOOST Dance Festival (2022), and in LAUNCH (2023). Rose has also found a love for dance in the vertical space and has attended workshops with BANDALOOP in Oakland, CA. Rose is interested in blurring the lines between genera and has a great love for finding community and shared experiences through dance.
